“Sherman Artists Open Studio Show”

The Sherman Library is pleased to announce “The Sherman Artists Open Studio Show,” a group show that features talented local painters, photographers, mixed media, fused glass, wood and pottery artists.
Participating artists in this show include Betsy Duckworth, Bonnie Johnson, Carolyn Cohen, Christina Maschke, Christy Bonaiuto, Cindy O’Connor, Donna Castelluccio, Doreen O’Connor, Ely Knowles, Elisabeth Bogues, Eva DeFranco, Greg Chadwick, Jaime Seymour, Karen Golden, Kenny Litwack, Linda Hubbard, Liz Rosiello, Lynn Slonaker, Mary Jane Magoon, MJ Newman, Phyllis Chadwick, Susan Grisell, Terry Pasquale and Tony Gomez.
The Sherman Open Studios 2024 Tour is being held Saturday, December 7th and Sunday, December 8th, from 10am to 4pm. Twenty-four members of the Sherman Artists Association are participating in this year’s Open Studio 2024 Tour. Some artists will be hosting visitors in their studios, others at the Sherman Town Hall, the Sherman Senior Center and the Sherman JCC. This event offers a chance to engage with creators, explore unique artworks, and discover that perfect one-of-a-kind gift for the holidays! Whether you're a seasoned collector or just looking for something special, there’s something here for everyone. The Sherman Artists Open Studio event features a great variety of painters, photographers, mixed media, fused glass, and fabric artists who will show their artwork and explain their processes.
Sherman Artists Open Studio brochures are available online at www.ShermanArtists.org and at the Sherman Library. The brochures include a map and an overview of the participating artists and a list of sponsors. Bright yellow signs will be located throughout town to help guide you to the locations. The opening reception will be held on Friday, November 22, 2024 from 6-8pm. The show will be on display at the Sherman Library from November 22, 2024 – January 8, 2025.
