Getting a Sherman Library Card

Any Sherman resident with a current Sherman mailing address is entitled to a free library card. Applicants must provide a telephone number, e-mail address and mailing address. You can complete the application for a library card online or in person or by phone during library open hours.

Sherman Library cards may be used in all Connecticut public libraries that participate in a reciprocal borrowing program. Sherman Library cards are valid for three years and can be renewed upon request. There is a $2.00 fee to replace a lost or damaged library card.
