Important Announcement from the Sherman Library Board of Trustees Regarding In-Person Programming.
The Board of Trustees of the Sherman Library wants to thank the Sherman community for its understanding of and patience with the issues we have faced during this still-ongoing pandemic. We know that many of you are anxious for the library to resume a full schedule of in-library programs (including both regularly recurring programs and one-time events).
Reestablishing our various programs requires considering the needs and desires of our patrons, the extent of our library resources, and our mandate to protect the safety of a varied clientele. The Board is actively discussing how to achieve these demands in a safe and sustainable way. The findings of the Community Library Survey, which will become available in late summer, are an essential part of our discussion. Let us hear your voice; we value your concerns and input, so please be sure and fill out the survey either on-line at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/NR5WC5F or in its paper version available at the library.
We want to get this right. We ask for your input and tolerance as we work through these issues.
Sincerely,
The Sherman Library Association Board of Trustees
